Hello my peeps!
Here I have my latest fan artwork based off the highly praised PlayStation 2 classic Shadow of the Colossus.
Never played it?
If not, I recommend checking it out.
It is a beautiful game with a rich atmosphere that I personally admire.
And the soundtrack is fantastic too in my opinion.
But enough of me praising the game!
Why did I make it anyway?
And, perhaps a better question, why is there life bars ect. In the picture?!
Well, this is a picture I did specifically for
's screenshot art contest.
The idea is to create an illustration that is modeled off a video game screenshot while still maintaining the artist's own style.
My plain was to produce an art piece that has aesthetics of an illustration while still having the qualities of a screenshot.
Furthermore, I wanted to present it in a perspective that was impossible to see in the game.
So the addition of Agro actually being in this shot of the first Colossus battle for example is by design.
I hope you guys all enjoy and I'll cross my fingers hoping my piece is a winner…
